We are an aquarist family! We love and share a passion for fish. We believe that fish—especially Discus—are fascinating, as is the hobby of fishkeeping.
Georgia Discus is a hobbyist business. Our vision is to become a top-quality store and farm in the United States who delivers healthy and beautiful fish to its customers.
At Georgia Discus, we offer over 25 Discus strains at affordable and fair prices. We personally select and import our Discus from internationally reputable breeders.

Shipping info and D.O.A Policy
Shipping Process
At Georgia Discus, we ensure that all our Discus fish arrive safely in their new home. Our fish are individually bagged (triple or quadruple bag) in aged water with opaque black liners. Each bag is filled with pure oxygen before being sealed. The bags are carefully and tightly placed in Styrofoam-insulated shipping containers, along with heat or ice packs to maintain the water at an appropriate temperature.
Shipping Schedule
We ship your fish to you within 3 days. We need to fast the fish and make sure they are healthy before and during transport.
UPS - FedEx overnight: Fish will be shipped out on Monday and Tuesday. (Orders made on Tuesday will be shipped out the following Monday).
Note: We reserve the right to postpone shipping in cases of extreme weather conditions.
Live Arrival Guarantee
Georgia Discus guarantees that your fish will arrive alive and ready for their new home. However, because we understand that things can happen in transport, we do offer a Conditional Dead On Arrival (D.O.A.) Guarantee.
Procedures, Terms, and Conditions for D.O.A. Policy:
1. Buyer must be present to receive the fish on the first attempt delivery. D.O.A policy shall be void if a parcel is refused or returned to the depot or left unattended.
2. Refund as store credit to any D.O.A. fish on first attempt delivery. Credit for the price of the fish that can be used on future orders. Note: Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
3. Pictures and a clear video of the D.O.A. fish in the unopened bag must be taken and emailed to us within 2 hours of delivery. Please email a 10-second video of the fish in the bag before opening and a 10-second video of the fish out of the bag to georgiadiscusllc@gmail.com. Failure to provide this information will result in a denied claim.
4. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances. We cannot accept any fish shipped back to us.
5. Fish must be shipped to a real address. Third-party addresses like PO Boxes are not accepted and will void the D.O.A. policy. Likewise, any inaccurate or wrong addresses will void the D.O.A. policy.
6. All our fish are sent with an expected delivery of under 24 hours. If a delay occurs in shipment by the carrier leading to D.O.A. fish, we will refund half of the fish price as store credit. We do not refund or are not responsible for shipping and handling costs for late arrival and/or any other issue from carriers.
